About the Role
As a Machine Learning Customer Success Engineer at Voxel51, you’ll collaborate directly with users to guide them on best practices for implementing machine learning workflows using FiftyOne. You’ll support teams at leading Fortune 100 companies and innovative startups worldwide, helping them leverage FiftyOne to enhance their ML capabilities. Internally, you will act as the voice of the customer, playing a key role in shaping the product roadmap. You will also contribute to our open-source ML product and its growing community, continually expanding its functionality. This fully-distributed role would benefit from someone working during East Coast US hours.
Responsibilities:
80% of your time:
- Guide users in identifying best practices for implementing their ML workflows.
- Lead customer implementations, address bug reports, and manage day-to-day interactions with users via Slack, email, and weekly meetings.
- Create training materials and onboarding sessions, and deliver them to users.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure the customer’s needs are represented in the roadmap.
20% of your time:
- Contribute to the development of ML-specific features within FiftyOne.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional machine learning experience.
- 2+ years in customer-facing roles.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Expertise with ML and scientific computing libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy).
- Strong background and interest in computer vision.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DocumentDB, Elasticsearch) is a plus.
- Experience in or passion for contributing to open-source projects.
- Comfortable working in a remote-first, collaborative environment with tools like GitHub and Slack.
