About the Role
Zelig is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to help build advanced computer vision systems for garment manipulation in virtual try-on technology. The engineer will play a key role in the try-on image generation process, focusing on improving the realism of these outputs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the e-commerce and fashion industries.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced computer vision algorithms for manipulating garments in the virtual try-on pipeline.
- Conduct exploratory research into computer vision techniques that can enhance the team’s existing solutions.
- Implement and optimize algorithms to improve speed and performance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision systems into the broader product architecture.
- Test and refine models using real-world data and user feedback to enhance the overall system.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of industry experience in computer vision, with at least 3 years in Python.
- Expertise in computer vision, image processing techniques, and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience working with deep neural networks (DNNs) and generative AI in image spaces.
- Proven ability to develop computer vision applications using Python and OpenCV.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience in optimizing Python code for performance and memory efficiency.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with version control tools like GIT and the ability to write unit tests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web development and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience in computer graphics, such as 3D data simulation and image visualization techniques.
