About the Role
An opportunity is available for a junior-level Computer Vision Engineer to join a hands-on, fast-paced team based in the Madrid area. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who combines a solid foundation in computer vision (traditional or deep learning) with strong Python coding skills. Formal experience is not required—what matters most is technical aptitude, willingness to learn, and the drive to build real-world solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and refine computer vision algorithms using both classical techniques and deep learning
- Collaborate in testing solutions on real hardware systems, including camera setup and integration
- Explore and experiment with image processing, machine learning, or related hardware projects
- Work cross-functionally with engineering teams and contribute to full project lifecycles
- Embrace practical, hands-on tasks such as mounting cameras, cabling, and debugging hardware setups
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and shared problem solving
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Solid coding ability in Python
- Demonstrated interest or project experience in computer vision or machine learning
- Strong curiosity and drive to learn new technologies, particularly in AI and robotics
- Comfortable communicating in English (spoken and written)
- A collaborative mindset and alignment with a values-driven work culture
- Enthusiasm for building and experimenting with both software and hardware
Preferred (Not Required)
- Exposure to deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience with personal or academic hardware-based vision projects
