About the Role
This position focuses on developing core computer vision technologies for robotics and aerospace projects. The role involves research, algorithm design, performance optimization, deployment, and integration of machine learning and computer vision solutions into production environments. Collaboration across multidisciplinary teams is key to ensuring that the systems meet demanding operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate state-of-the-art computer vision methodologies.
- Prepare, curate, and validate training and testing datasets.
- Perform statistical analysis and develop visualization tools for data quality assurance.
- Design, implement, and refine training pipelines and performance metrics.
- Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for robotics and aerospace applications.
- Integrate ML/CV models into production-ready environments and perform code reviews.
- Test algorithms in real-world settings and create monitoring tools for deployed systems.
- Collaborate with software and simulation teams to align solutions with system requirements.
- Present findings and progress to stakeholders effectively.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Strong background in mathematics and programming (Python essential, C++ a plus).
- Practical experience in machine learning and computer vision projects.
- Proven ability to optimize algorithms for performance and reliability.
