About the Role

The Computer Vision & Deep Learning Engineer will drive innovation by designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced AI systems across cloud and on-premises environments. The role requires expertise in computer vision, deep learning, and scalable data processing for multimodal datasets. The engineer will transform research into production-ready applications, improve system performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges that impact global logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and experiment with cutting-edge computer vision and deep learning algorithms.
  • Build production-ready applications to meet diverse business requirements.
  • Optimize existing CV and deep learning software for maximum efficiency.
  • Develop scalable systems for large datasets, including images, videos, and sensor data (IMU, GPS, etc.).
  • Document research findings, system architectures, and implementations.
  • Deploy high-performance solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, product, and engineering teams to accelerate innovation.

Required Skills

  • Graduate degree or 4+ years of professional experience in computer vision, deep learning, or related fields.
  • Strong foundation in deep learning, computer vision, algorithms, and systems architecture.
  • Expertise in Python with frameworks such as PyTorch, OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn.
  • Experience working with raw, real-world datasets to create practical solutions.
  • Strong software development skills and ability to optimize solutions efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced expertise in image, video, and time-series deep learning models.
  • Experience with computer vision on resource-constrained devices.
  • Familiarity with multi-view geometry and multimodal data processing.
  • Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or VR/AR.
  • Proficiency with additional tools: FastAPI, Pydantic, C/C++, Bash.
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Publications in leading conferences/journals (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS).
