This position offers the opportunity to work on the development and integration of cutting-edge 3D scanning solutions. The role involves enhancing and automating calibration processes, improving image processing algorithms, and adapting hardware setups for optimal performance. The successful candidate will contribute to creating new products and services that redefine how 3D data is captured and applied across industries.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and automate calibration workflows.
- Evaluate, test, improve, and integrate image processing algorithms.
- Design and develop innovative products and services.
- Adapt hardware configurations according to applied algorithms.
- Work on projects involving precise 3D measurement and mapping.
Required Skills
- Strong background in software development.
- Good understanding of 3D graphics concepts and optical physics.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, OpenCV, PyTorch, and machine learning techniques.
- Initial experience with NeRF & related methods, SDF, and photogrammetry.
- Passion for camera systems and optical technologies.
- Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 3D engines and WebXR.
- Degree in computer visualization, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to contribute to product innovation.
