About the Role
As a Graduate Computer Vision Engineer (C++), this role offers the chance to contribute to pioneering real-time tracking technology and software development for elite-level sport. Based in the UK with flexible remote working options (±3 hours from London), this position provides high levels of autonomy, exposure to the full product lifecycle, and the opportunity to grow within a fast-scaling start-up.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain real-time ball and player tracking applications for third-party data integration
- Build C++ software for visualising and analysing tracking data to enhance coaching and broadcasting
- Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for performance and analysis tools
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong programming experience in C++
- Understanding of 3D linear algebra for computer vision applications
- Proficiency with Git version control
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in computer vision and non-linear least square optimisation
- Knowledge of UI development (e.g., ImGui)
- Experience with multithreading techniques
- GPU programming expertise (e.g., CUDA)
- Familiarity with messaging frameworks (e.g., NATS, RabbitMQ)
- Cloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of containerisation (Docker, Podman) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
