Team Summary
The Computer Vision team is central to delivering precise tracking for sports. Using advanced CV and deep learning techniques, they detect and identify players and the ball from video, then convert this into 3D positioning data through camera calibration—all while ensuring robustness and reliability in fast-paced environments.
Role: Computer Vision Team Lead – American Football
As the Computer Vision Team Lead, you’ll oversee the development of a video-based tracking system specifically for American football. This hybrid role involves both hands-on technical work and team leadership. You’ll manage a team of engineers and researchers, drive strategy, and ensure delivery of accurate and scalable tracking data tailored to broadcast conditions.
Responsibilities

Lead & Mentor: Supervise and develop a team of CV engineers and researchers.

Technical Direction: Oversee work in object detection, tracking, pose estimation, and camera calibration.

Quality Control: Ensure models are accurate, robust, and production-ready.

Strategic Planning: Define technical roadmaps in sync with product and engineering goals.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with annotation, MLOps, data, and product teams.

Innovate: Integrate latest research and industry advancements where relevant.
Requirements

5+ years’ experience in computer vision or machine learning, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred).

Expertise in video-based tracking and scene understanding.

Skilled in PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Strong communication skills in both English and French.
